About The Hosts


Matt Rosenbalm

Matt Rosenbalm is the Microdrones Sales Manager for the Southern United States and has extensive experience in the geomatics and construction markets, specifically in drone sales and operations.

Prior to Microdrones, Matt was employed in geospatial distribution, where he helped develop an emerging drone market to provide commercial UAV surveying and mapping solutions for customers throughout Georgia, Alabama and Florida.

Today Matt is instrumental in growing the adoption and implementation of drones for surveying and mapping. He makes difficult concepts easy to understand for distributors and end users across markets and geographies.


Bret Burghdurf

Bret Burghdurf is the Microdrones Director, Marketing Americas and New Markets and has an extensive background in advertising, sales, and communications.

Bret has more than twenty years of experience in marketing, communications, creative services and sales and joins us from a regional advertising agency where he was most recently Media Director. At Microdrones his role is to help manage and develop their marketing platform with geographic responsibility for the Americas. In addition, he collaborates with the business development team to conceive, plan and execute initiatives that support our expansion into new markets.


Jonathan C. Morris, Vice President Remote Sensing

While attending LSU, Mr. Morris spent most of his summers working on a survey crew for Morris P. Hebert in Houma. During that time, he served as a rodman and instrumentman on various topographic, hydrographic, and construction surveys across the state. He graduated LSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam. He returned to Morris P. Hebert to manage the hydrographic survey department and has since been involved in various projects.

Mr. Morris was recently named the VP of Remote Sensing. This expansion of role includes not only the direct supervision of the hydrographic surveying services, but also the development and supervision of the Unmanned Aerial System (UAV) services that MPH now offers. In addition to being VP of Remote Sensing, Mr. Morris also has been the lead point of contact for various CPRA and other coastal restoration related projects since 2014.


Lee Drennan, Research and Development Coordinator

Lee began his career in the United States Navy where as an Aviation Electronics Technician he received extensive training in electronics, radio, and microwave propagation. After discharge he entered the Surveying industry as a repair technician, then moved quickly into sales, training, and technical support. After a 22+ year career in the equipment industry with wide-ranging schooling and experience in technology, hardware and software, training, and interpersonal relations, he joined MPH in 2013, where he has been responsible for investigating and implementing new technologies, developing workflows, and training the MPH office and field staff.
