DRONE SURVEYING REALITY SHOW
T3 Global Strategies, a state and federally recognized business, provides
mapping, engineering, surveying, and GIS services in both the public
and private sectors. They also have an advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
(UAV) Mapping Program, with certified photogrammetrists and licensed
Surveyors on staff. T3 is not just another “drone mapping company.”

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation had a road drainage project
in an urban area, where water was backing up and flooding roadways.
Due to the size of the area, vegetation, and the need to quickly find
a solution, T3 Global Strategies recommended TrueView Drone LiDAR Surveying
for this project, instead of a manned flight. In a first for PennDOT,
they approved the use of drone technology to scan the area and provide
topographic planimetric mapping data and high res orthophotography.
In turn, Engineers from PennDOT will use the data to design
            better drainage.

However, a busy neighborhood, pedestrian distractions, and local air-traffic
will keep the surveying team from T3 Global Strategies on their toes.
See how they navigate these challenges on Down to Earth- Urban
            Drain.
