Cost: $100 workshop fee will be reimbursed by Microdrones with advance registration for both this session and the morning ASPRS workshop


Dr. Mohamed Mostafa and the mdSolutions Team at Microdrones will present their new unmanned aerial LiDAR system, its capabilities, applications, and workflow. You’ll see how LiDAR can be applied to professional applications ranging from surveying, inspection, avalanche detection, forestry and agriculture. 

Professional Grade LiDAR systems are currently being used onboard unmanned aerial systems for high precision mapping applications. This 4-hr workshop is intended for the unmanned airborne LiDAR user community including mapping professionals, land surveyors, managers, and decision makers to understand the underlying concepts of LiDAR from the technical and business perspective in the form of theory and practice using real data sets from around the world.
